I was born and raised in Venezuela in a family of surgeons of all kinds. Growing up in such an environment made me discover my passion for medicine and for helping others. During the long years of medical studies and practice, I was able to explore many of the different areas of this beautiful career. However, I very quickly fell in love with Aesthetic Medicine because of the big impact that small transformations had on my patients’ self-confidence.
I believe that aesthetic medicine is not a tool to achieve a standard of perfect beauty, but to achieve the confidence necessary to achieve everything that we propose in life.
I believe that the aesthetic medicine does not try to go against the natural process of aging, but tries to slow down that process and alleviate the signs of it.
I believe that aesthetic medicine must be sufficiently noticeable for the patient to see and feel the change, but subtle enough so that those around cannot decipher it.
I believe that aesthetic medicine is more of an art than an exact science since each patient is unique and, therefore, applying recipes never brings the same results.
In 2008, I co-founded and directed CELAN, the first medical practice in Venezuela that integrated aesthetic medicine and photonic medicine. At CELAN, my team and I earned the trust of more than 1000 patients through a highly personalized and innovative service.
The complicated situation in my country led me to look for opportunities for all my family in the United States, a place that I consider my home today. And despite the barriers and difficulties, my entrepreneurial spirit prompted me to create a new practice of aesthetic medicine in Miami. This practice that now bears my name, I intend to grow it in the same way that I managed to grow CELAN: bringing the most advanced technology in the industry, offering a highly personalized service and earning the trust of my patients.
